No, my dear reporter. The reason why YOU can’t do those things - use the iPad as a portable photo album, or read a newspaper or magazine while listening to music - isn’t the iPad’s fault. It’s because you don’t pay attention, read press releases, or know half the things about an iPhone that my mother does.
The iPad can sync photos with a computer, and even download them off an SD card by means of an adapter that Apple sells. Also, the music player and other built-in system applications can run in the background. So you can listen to music, read your newspaper, and still receive emails at the same time.
